Zorro Comics

English versions

The English versions released in both the U.S. and England contain many advertisements. They are "modern" day size of comics and were issued by Marvel beginning in December 1990. The stories contained in them center around the early episodes. There were only 12 issues.

German versions

These are much larger than the English comics and the inside pages are printed on glossier paper stock instead of the newsprint. This makes the colors much more vibrant. The cover art is the same as the US versions, but the blurbs on the covers are different.

 Dutch versions

I only have two of these so far. They were printed in Finland and the numbers are different from the English comics.

Issue #1 includes three stories: "The Legend Begins," "The Magician" and "Dead Men Tell No Tales." It is the same size as American  trade paperback comics and has a simple version of the cover art of the English #1 cover.  It also includes a few pages devoted to the types of weapons and saddles used during the time period. Click on the cover to see these.

Issue #3 has the same stories as the English issues of #5 and #6 and is the same size as the English versions. The back cover repeats the artwork on the front and the inside covers are blank.
