About this site...
Several years ago, there was a Duncan Regehr Fan Club that was sanctioned by Mr. Regehr himself. There was a nice website with plenty of information and pictures that could be called "Official" as well. Since the demise of the club and the website, there has been no comprehensive site where someone could go to learn about his acting career.
Duncanregehr.com is his Official website. That site is devoted to his artwork.
This website will be devoted to his thespian talents and his career in film and television.
I remember the night I was flipping channels on the TV and came across an episode of Star Trek Next Generation. The scene was of a spooky old graveyard and one of the characters said something about Scotland, so it grabbed my interest immediately. As soon as the character of Ronin was shown on screen, I wanted to know just who that actor was. I had missed the credits since they were shown at the beginning of the show. It was years later that I discovered his name and was delighted to learn he had also once played a favorite hero of mine -- Zorro!
For now, this site is a work in progress. I will be adding more pictures and articles as time allows. Some small pictures on the site will be overwritten with larger versions as they become available. Please check back often even once you think you have seen the entire site. It has taken me a long time to get going with this endeavor. My knowledge of such things when I began was nonexistent, but one reason I wanted to create this site was that I wanted to learn how to do it. I am still learning. I'm even eventually going to tackle audio files!
If anyone has something concerning Duncan Regehr's career that I've missed, please let me know! New additions to the site will always be welcome. I'm still trying to run down the rest of the issues of the foreign Zorro comics and I would truly love to find something on the productions for which I have nothing so far like the unaired pilots he has done.
The Official Fan Club website was a delight to me. It helped me in my desire to find out about other roles that Duncan Regehr had played. Its creator, Susan O'Brien, and I became friends and she has graciously permitted me to use material from the old website. I hope that you will enjoy this site in the same way as you become, or continue to be, a fan of this marvelous actor.
