Timemaster is a major motion picture which originally played in theaters in 1995. It tells the story of a planet whose people know how to cross space and time. They kidnap earthlings, wipe their memories and use them as pawns in a game on which they bet with a substance called "Blue," which is, in essence, a person's lifeforce. The parents of two children are kidnapped and taken to this planet, one to be used as a pawn, one to be used as a player. One of the children, the boy Jesse, is befriended by an "alien" and does what he can to try to save not only his parents, but the planet Earth as well.
Duncan Regehr plays Jonathan Adams, the pawn in the contest. The scenarios of the contest are set in the past history of Earth, and we see Jonathan Adams as several different characters. The pawn in the contest doesn't remember who he is, only the part he is supposed to play. The players control the pawn by a control panel.
This movie is only available on VHS and Laserdisk. It was nominated for the Saturn Award of 1996 by The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films USA in the category of best genre in videos.
